PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF FUNCTION
Develops and maintains reporting on inventory levels. Reviews levels of supplies and performs daily analysis and cycle counts on components.
A successful candidate will have outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages. Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments. Evaluate finished goods inventory to ensure it’s available for shipment. Identify and monitor scrapped material and make stock adjustments in inventory system. Research and root cause of scrapped inventory. Keep detail reports on scrapped inventory. Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to operate a Forklift, Order Picker & Pallet Jack. Ability to use RF Barcode Guns Ability to work with minimum supervision. Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail Ability to use related inventory management software effectively. Possess basic math, writing, reading and communication skills. Able to operate weight scales for counting Must be able to communicate well with others and have good organization skills. Ability to work consistently without constant supervision. Steel-toed shoes required; no sleeveless shirts allowed.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent Computer Skills Manufacturing experience a plus
