Shift pattern: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Salary Range: From £33,000+ per year

VF Corporation is looking for a new Inventory Supervisor to join our team based at our UK Distribution Centre in Bardon, Leicestershire, UK.

Let’s Talk about the Role

We are seeking a new Inventory Supervisor to lead our Inventory Team in their daily duties to support site accuracy.

This role requires a versatile people leader who can develop and inspire a high-performing team, ensuring that our stock control processes are accurate and efficient, helping the Distribution Centre to run smoothly and reach our goals, each and every day!

The Inventory Supervisor will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance stock management processes and oversee all aspects of the inventory department to ensure streamlined operations.

 

 

How You Will Make a Difference

Lead, coach, and develop the DC Inventory Team, ensuring a collaborative environment where effective communication and cooperation are vital

Maintain inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.

Prepare reports on inventory levels and performance for senior internal and external contacts and management, ensuring stock control processes are compliant with our required standards.

Conduct cycle counts and adjustments in line with VF guidelines, correcting discrepancies with minimal impact, and carry out thorough investigations to determine root causes and identify trends and solutions.

Complete controls and reporting on time and in full, providing accurate results with high attention to detail.

Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration, holding teams accountable and providing regular feedback and coaching to foster professional growth.

 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver meaningful insights

Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and inspire teams

Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Experience in stock control and warehousing operations

Great Microsoft Office skills

Proactive mindset with the ability to initiate change and drive efficiency

Continuous Improvement training and certification is a plus

Self-motivated and detail-oriented
