This is a mid-level position which is part of the warehouse team supporting operations & supply chain.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Analytical Thinking Impact & Influence Achievement Orientation Information SeekingCommunicator/FacilitatorDESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:Ensure an attitude of safety consciousness throughout the warehouse including damage to product, equipment and the facility are preventedEnforce all Safety rules through safety observationsAssists in training and motivating of personnel for increased effectivenessProvides leadership in regards to problem solvingDirects work force to achieve maximum efficiencyApplies sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and disciplining subordinatesLeads by setting a good exampleEnsures the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipmentEnsures compliance to OSHA standards GMP regulations, Food Safety, C-TPAT and standard operating proceduresEnsures all personnel are trained properly in their respective area, and cross-trained in other related positions within departmentInterfaces closely with Production, Engineering and Quality ControlCoordinates material movement between locationsSUPERVISION:
This is a moderately supervised position.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:High School Diploma or equivalent8+ years’ experience in warehouse environment with previous lead/supervisionProven Leadership and Interpersonal skillsComputer skills (database, spreadsheets, processing software) and Math skillsSelf-motivated commitment to continuous improvementAbility to excel within high-risk and fast paced work environmentProven ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisionsADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
