Investigation Coordinator
Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous and diligent Investigation Coordinator to be a part of our team in the non-profit sector, based in Los Angeles, California. As an Investigation Coordinator, your role will involve managing the daily operations of the Audit and Investigation division, conducting thorough investigations, and assisting in the preparation of cases. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily functioning of the Audit and Investigation division • Conduct comprehensive investigations into allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse • Gather and assess evidence related to the investigations • Identify violations of laws and regulations during the investigation process • Assist in the compilation of criminal complaints • Aid in the prosecution of cases by providing necessary support and information • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Handle inbound calls and manage calendars effectively • Oversee the budget processes within the department • Conduct audit compliance checks and manage audit functions • Carry out account and risk analysis as part of the audit process • Ensure adherence to federal statutes in all operations. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required for efficient financial management. • Proficiency in using Concur for streamlined travel and expense management. • CRM skills are necessary for managing customer relationships effectively. • Knowledge of About Time software to track, manage, and process employee hours and job data. • Understanding of Budget Processes for efficient financial planning. • Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders. • Audit skills are required to evaluate the organization's financial and operational practices. • Proficiency in Audit - Financial to ensure financial records are accurate and in compliance. • Knowledge of Audit Compliance to ensure all operations adhere to established standards. • Experience in Audit Functions to identify areas of improvement in financial operations. • Ability to manage Audit Management to oversee and streamline auditing processes. • Skilled in Account Analysis to examine and interpret account records. • Proficiency in Risk Analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks. • Familiarity with Federal Statutes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
