POSITION SUMMARY:

The Investigations Manager, Surveillance is responsible for managing & coordinating the efficient operation of the Surveillance Investigations and Analytics Units at City of Dreams Sri Lanka. They will be responsible for implementing high level investigations and analysis of operational concerns, product performance and all revenue generating profit centres. The Investigations Manager, Surveillance will also ensure that all Melco operational activities are conducted with the highest levels of integrity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and/or conduct special investigations, including, but not limited to, cheating/scams, theft, suspicious employee activity, and poor game performance.Gather intelligence for analysis and appropriate dissemination.Liaise with internal stakeholders including Corporate Investigations and Gaming departments.Provide post incident analysis to senior management.Provide predictive analytics services by studying intelligence and gaming performance data and identifying trends or areas of risk.Continuous risk analysis.Immediately provide senior management with information pertaining to significant gaming losses via Rapid Response Analytics & Evaluation.Maintain profiles of Persons of Interest.Manage the use of covert surveillance equipment and technical surveillance countermeasure tools.Submit monthly reports and statistical analysis to senior management as needed.Lead a small team of investigations Analysts and represent their concerns to Management.Maintain employee morale, work performance and professionalism by promoting a positive work environment.Conduct performance appraisals in accordance with the Melco Resorts & Entertainment performance Management System.Safeguard all confidential information whilst exercising due care to prevent its improper disclosure or use.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Department performance in protecting revenue and assets. Achieve budget goals.Reports and statistical information relation to the operations.Presentation of information relating to operations.Support of other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Knowledge of casino practices and procedures (Minimum Internal Controls).Previous experience as a Supervisor or Manager in Surveillance.Previous experience working in a Surveillance Investigations/Special Projects role would be highly desirable.Excellent knowledge of English language (written and spoken) is essential.Experience within an Asian market preferable.Experience in conducting and managing investigations, including, but not limited to criminal, fraud, and Human Resources related cases preferred.Experience in conducting casino procedural audits.Basic Statistics and MathematicsExperience with data collection and analysis preferred.Familiarity with covert surveillance equipment and technical surveillance countermeasures.Microsoft Office suite literate.Ability to utilize analytical software.
