REQ11008 Investigator, Diligence Philippines (Open)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to Analyst, Diligence Philippines the Investigator, Diligence is responsible for conducting background checks for employee, contractor, vendor, asset review and junket and any other task as directed by Analyst, Diligence Philippines.

The position should be able to analyze and discuss the associated risks of dealing with a particular staff, member, Junket or Vendor.   

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conducts pre-employment vetting on all employees.

2. Conducts and participates in special investigations and interviews of employees as assigned.

3. Conducts background investigations of vendor applications and renewals for   suitability assessment.

4. Conducts background vetting, credit suitability

5. Checks and asset review checks for junket operator, shareholders and key employees. 

6. Completes clear and concise background check report. Identifies fraudulent documents in all applications.

7. Assists in the administration and maintenance of the due diligence process.

8. Maintains accurate background check files and databases.

9. Generates and maintains external intelligence sources and report findings to the Analyst, Diligence Philippines, Assistant Manager, Diligence Philippines and Director, Investigations Philippines.

10. Any other reasonable duties assigned by the above Superiors. Training and personal development

10.1.  Participates in any training programs offered to the Investigations division10.2.  Keeps up-to-date with department and company policies and procedures10.3.  Effectively manages and maintains own quality of work performance10.4.  Actively participates in regular performance improvement reviews

Assist in tracking and monitoring parties of interest Reports are completed in a timely manner Statutory regulations are complied with

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

At least 2 years of working experienceExperience in some fields of background screening and investigations will be in advanced consideration.

Education

Preferably a graduate of any Bachelors or BA degree

Skills / Competencies

Understanding of Public source references and the ability to obtain information through a number of difference means.Understanding of the Gaming industry.Able to make simple risk assessments.Fluent in written and spoken English.Strong report writing skills and internet search skills.Computing skills and database knowledge.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio.Able to work independently.Has an inquisitive and open mind.Remains completely discreet in operation and off duty.Maintains high level of integrity.Meets the attendance guidelines of the job, and adhere to departmental and company policy.
