Job Description

Investigate Customer Returns such as Compressors or Spare Parts. Operate Test Fixtures such as Electronics Testers, Compressor Open Air Testers and other Test Fixtures.
Tear down compressors using all necessary mechanical Tools and Measuring Devices as well as report the Teardown findings in Computer System.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities: (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

o    Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
o    Maintain clean, safe and orderly workaround for shared Tools and Test Equipment.
o    Download compressor historical Data and troubleshoot before Teardown
o    Do a full mechanical compressor Teardown using all mechanical Tools and Measuring Devices
o    Operate functional Testers
o    Contribute to 8D Root Cause Investigation.

o    Fluid English in writing and speaking
o    Strong skills in MS Office such as Word and Excel
o    Mechanical Teardown requires ability to work physical with Tools
o    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
o    Good logical thinking and problem solving skills


Preferred Qualifications: (Education, Skills, Experience, and/or Languages that are nice to have but not required):

o    Experience in mechanical and electrical working
o    Demonstrated working experience within electronics or mechatronics is preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office and Production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately noisy. 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
