Investment Analyst

      

For this role, the Investment Analyst’s (Trading Focused) main responsibilities include sending new account emails, trading new accounts, following up on existing issues, and placing trades when necessary. Additional responsibilities include rebalancing trades, assisting with money movement tasks for brokerage accounts, and working directly with advisors to complete service work. While those are the baseline functions, candidates who excel will have opportunities to contribute more broadly—particularly in automating and improving our VBA-based spreadsheets that drive account tracking, trade calculations, and review notes. This position also sits directly next to our research department, making it a strong steppingstone for career progression into research and investment strategy. Successful candidates will work closely with research to understand the “why” behind investment decisions and provide feedback on trade feasibility.

The role of Investment Analyst is employed by Purpose Driven Wealth and will report to Clint Jasperson, Wealth Advisor, and Lotem Sella, Director of Investment Operations.

This role is full-time and fully in-office out of Loveland, CO.
Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $80K to $100K based on licensing and experience. Bonus opportunities available.

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Handle email outreach and trading activities for newly established accountsPlace trades and rebalancing transactions as neededFollow up on existing account issues and ensure resolutionAssist with money movement tasks for brokerage accountsWork directly with advisors to complete service requests and trade instructionsCollaborate with the research team to understand investment decisions and assess trade feasibilityProvide accurate and timely trade execution supportMaintain and update account tracking systems and reports(Growth opportunity) Contribute to the automation of spreadsheets and tools using VBA or other coding methods

Position Qualifications

0–3 years of experience in trading, operations, or brokerage servicesFully licensed (e.g., Series 7/66 or obtained within first 90 days of hire)Bachelor’s Degree preferredStrong Excel skills; familiarity with VBA or other automation tools a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills for advisor supportStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsInterest in growing into investment research or analytics roles over timeWillingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team success
