Investment Analyst (Client Consulting)

Our Middle Market Team provides investment advisory and fiduciary support services to mid-size investment clients. 

This is an entry level position with overall responsibility for supporting the Investment Associates and Consultants in maintaining client relationships. The Analyst will have a wide range of responsibilities including performance reporting, invoicing, ongoing investment monitoring and analysis, and communicating with external vendors to obtain information for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in finance or a similar business-related field and will be able to learn quickly and manage their time effectively to support the associates with client deliverables.

The Role

Client Support

Gather asset reports from vendors for creating client investment reports  Produce client investment reports and meeting presentations with high attention to detail Assist with the client invoicing process on a quarterly basis Maintain organized files and documentation on client information and outstanding tasks in coordination with associates Attend client meetings to dictate meeting notes/minutes as needed Perform ad hoc tasks to help support client relationships  Perform client and consultant requests as needed

Consultant Support

Maintain standardized materials that can be used across the practice  Support associates and consultants in the construction of client presentations Assist with the production of industry benchmarking reports appropriate for clients Support vendor search projects for clients  Prepare fee & service benchmarking reports Perform other tasks as needed to support the overall practice 

Investments

Produce investment performance reports for clients Assist with ongoing monitoring and due diligence of investment managers Provide assistance with investment searches for hiring investment managers Complete investment fee benchmarking and share class analyses  Assist with target date due diligence reporting and stable value analyses as needed Help associates conduct investment menu structure reviews 

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of being present in the office at least three days each week.

The Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance or related field preferred)Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and coordinate with other team membersStrong organization and time management skills required to balance multiple projects and ensure timely completion of client deliverablesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contactsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), and ability to learn new systems and technologies
