Investment Banking – Financial Sponsors, Analyst

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as an analyst for a global investment or corporate bank, and will be able to work independently and function as part of a team.  This person must be exceedingly well-organized, flexible and enjoy a variety of challenges.

The responsibilities for the Analyst include:

Performing financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analysesConstructing and analyzing financial models (mainly LBOs)Preparing presentation materials and participating in deal pitchesConducting industry and product research Assisting in financing structuring, underwriting transaction evaluation, due diligence and executionAssessing the credit quality of companies / LBO transactions and analyzing credit documents / bond indentures

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Finance or Economics and a minimum of 1-2 years of investment banking experience with a top tier global bankAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlinesStrong quantitative, communication, interpersonal skills and ability to convey ideasPrior credit training and / or leveraged finance experience preferredAbility to work independently and must be able to work effectively in a team environmentAdvanced proficiency with CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft OfficeSeries 79 & 63
