Job Summary

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The role will comprise working in FIG RBC’s Investment Banking team. The associate will support senior bankers in executing corporate finance, M&A and financing transactions covering financial institutions.

What will you do?

Support execution of transactions, including taking the leading role on specific project work streamsPrepare new business presentations and meetings, and other such dutiesWork with Analysts to develop pitch books and related client materialsGathering public information through numerous sourcesFinancial modelling and analysesReview and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activitiesEscalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

Experience of FIG Investment BankingSolid understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modellingOutstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of corporate finance and accountingHighly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requestsAbility to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong team skillsStrong written and oral communication, as well as, excellent interpersonalskills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organization
