The role will be focused on Primary Fundraising, assisting in the origination and execution of mandates to raise capital for Private Funds across a range of sectors including Equity, Debt and Infrastructure. The role also includes providing distribution and general marketing support.

Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Working with PFG senior team members to evaluate prospective opportunities, including detailed analysis of a client’s portfolio, track record, team, strategy and market opportunity

• Providing advice to clients on fundraising strategy, structuring, timing, investors and legal terms

• Articulating complex marketing messages

• Preparing compelling fundraising materials and financial models, including taking the lead on the Private Placement Memorandum (PPM), Investor Presentations and investor Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs)

• Planning and managing online data rooms to support client capital raising activities

• Daily interaction with client executives and with senior PFG team members worldwide

• Assist in the coordination of investor outreach, interactions and feedback, including maintaining a comprehensive fundraising tracker and generating regular reports

• Support the organisation of client roadshows liaising with both senior Distribution colleagues and Roadshow Co-ordinators

• Completing projects to assist in origination of new business, such as building market maps, tracking returns and market intelligence across market segments and taking the lead in the preparation of as well as contributing in pitches

• Supervise Analysts in the team both on deal mandates and internal tasks

• Establish close working relationships with multiple teams across UBS Global Banking
