The Investment Bank is dedicated to understanding the unique competitive and operating environments of our clients. The group combines strong relationships and industry knowledge with superior capital markets and advisory capabilities that include debt and equity underwriting, mergers and acquisitions, and loan syndications. The team maintains active relationships with a broad universe of middle market, large corporate, financial sponsor and institutional clients, and delivers exceptional execution for clients.

The Tech, Media & Telecom (TMT) Investment Banking group is seeking a 1st Year Program Associate, Technology, to join its San Francisco office.  The Tech team is focused on decision makers (C-suite, Board) and on building long-term client relationships, deepening those relationships through strategic advice, strong product knowledge and flawless deal execution. 

In this role, you will:

Help orchestrate capital raising and strategic advisory transactions. Associates assume significant responsibility that includes:

Developing and maintaining models to depict projected financial results and to value companiesSupporting various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequencesPerforming comprehensive and in-depth company and industry researchPreparing presentations and other materials for clientsConducting research, participating in strategic planning and assisting in the execution of advisory servicesParticipating in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankersDeveloping and mentoring junior talent

Required Qualifications:

An MBA or equivalent, with coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance2+ years of professional experience in investment banking or related industries, covering technology companies

Job Expectations

Registration for FINRA exams including Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63 and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date, if they are not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

Pay Range:

Base pay range for this position in San Francisco is 175,000 USD
May be considered for a discretionary bonus

$138,500.00 - $287,600.00
