Roles and Responsibilities
As the Investment Casting Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME), you will develop and deliver the next generation of Gas Power products and work with casting suppliers to industrialize existing products.
Serve as Advance Manufacturing Engineer in a cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, and suppliers to industrialize product and improve manufacturability of product.Partner with suppliers for investment castings to understand yield, quality issues, and producibility challenges and resolve problems.Serve as a critical stakeholder of large, complex programs with significant impact to the business.Demonstrate ownership of specific process/products and collaborate to ensure that programs are successfulDevelop and execute plans to qualify internal manufacturing operations and/or external suppliers in order to meet new product introduction fulfillment & quality goalsUtilize New Product Introduction tollgate process to ensure that new programs and upgrades are implemented effectivelyPartner with Design Engineering to ensure producible and cost effective concepts early in the New Product Introduction processEvaluate new product needs and develop advanced technology roadmaps including technology solutions, investment costs, and overall technology strategyEnsure design changes are validated, risks are quantified, and cost impacts have been assessed prior to implementationDevelop tooling, machining and/or assembly procedures that will be used for all production products.Responsible for on time and on budget manufacturing and assembly of initial NPI unitsProvide technical guidance and solutions to optimize cost competitiveness, quality excellence, and cycle time leadership across the full product supply chainServe as a technical process expert for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issuesPerform related duties as necessaryRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)8+ years of engineering, manufacturing or sourcing experienceMinimum of 4 years of experience in the investment casting industryDesired Characteristics

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $103,000.00 - $145,000.00 USD per year. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 3/14/2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
