Investment Fund Coordinator

The Deal-Flow Coordinator should have transaction management experience and a desire to work in a vibrant, expanding private equity business.  The ideal candidate will have the agility and poise to work in a high-volume, dynamic transactional environment and “ride herd” over a team of counsel (both internal and external) and businesspeople in order to ensure transactions are properly and timely executed.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate investment procedure and documentation across private equity investments including primaries, secondaries, and co-investments

Preparation and review of documentation for various private equity investment transactions

Organize, oversee and coordinate the closing of transactions

Organize and maintain transaction closing sets

Perform other legal paralegal functions

Interact with clients and senior management

Liaise with finance and accounting to facilitate closings and fundings

Perform ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Ability to perform in fast paced environment

Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented

Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently

Resourceful and able to handle multiple and changing priorities

Ability to communicate effectively with senior management

Must be teamwork oriented and also be able to work independently 

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
