JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials. Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing. 3–6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation. Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is required. Soft skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with an exceptional attention to detail, are essential. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and work well on a team, as well as independently.
Key Responsibilities
Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other types of funds employing alternative investment strategies. Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds). Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients. Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
