Investment Grade Loan Capital Markets, Associate or Senior Analyst

Loans Capital Markets is responsible for originating, structuring, executing, and distributing loan products for the bank’s 500+ corporate clients across industry sectors. Transactions include regular-way financings, acquisition and other event-driven financings, and project finance. The role collaborates with all parts of the bank, including sector coverage, M&A, Debt Capital Markets (Bonds), Rates, FX, and Credit teams.  Candidate is expected to understand basic corporate finance principles, high level understanding of the loan product, and provide input on pitch/deal materials and assist in documentation during execution.

The candidate will be assigned a variety of projects across industry sectors, and given a broad range of responsibilities, some of which include:

Assist in development of client pitches, marketing materials and internal documentation by coordinating with internal and external resourcesAssist in structuring and negotiation of legal documents, underwriting transaction evaluation, due diligence and deal executionSupport coordination with other banks, external lawyers, and bank middle and back office teamsConduct extensive quantitative economic, industry, market and company research and analysisFacilitate product idea generation and solutions across a broad platform of global capabilities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics or MBA, and a minimum of 2 years corporate banking or capital markets experience with a well-renowned global bankGeneral knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysisAptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutionsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlinesStrong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideasCreativity and intellectual curiosityAbility to work independently and must be able to work effectively in a team environmentAdvanced proficiency with CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft OfficeSeries 79 & 63
