Investment Management Oversight Analyst

This is a great job for someone who has knowledge of legal and regulatory provisions applicable to the UCITS/AIF fund industry and especially of the CSSF Circular 18/698 are essential part of the role

A bit about the job:

The Purpose of the role is to play a key part in the building of Aviva Investors Luxembourg IM Oversight Framework in line with local regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring investment performance and keeping Board Members and internal departments informed. They will review Investment Recommendations and ancillary due diligence materials prepared by the Investment Advisor, prepare critical assessments, and present independent reviews to the Investment Committee (IC) for approval. Additionally, the role involves identifying and monitoring operational and regulatory risks related to outsourced investment activities, coordinating input from relevant stakeholders, and engaging with fund managers across all asset classes and strategies. The candidate will also manage and build productive relationships with outsourced service providers and recipients, ensuring robust service delivery, transparent identification, escalation, and resolution of risks and issues. They will contribute to continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of governance and oversight activities, as well as the wider oversight function.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Either a relevant degree (economics, finance, accounting or related discipline) or able to demonstrate a suitable depth of intellectual rigour and maturity.

CFA or CAIA or equivalent qualification an advantage

Successful track record of building effective working relationships at a senior level to actively influence and achieve results.

Understanding of SFDR regulation and ESG alignment.

Broad knowledge and understanding of investment industry.
