Job Summary

The Investment Office at the University of Michigan is seeking a full-time intern to join our team on-site for Summer 2025. You will refine and strengthen your skills in finance and investing, data analysis, and project management.

The University of Michigan Investment Office is responsible for directing and overseeing the investment of the University's $19+ billion of financial reserves, which includes the 9th largest university endowment. The Investment Office staff works with many of the top investment managers globally to provide the financial resources necessary to ensure the long-term success of one of the world's great teaching and research institutions.

Responsibilities*Provide support with quantitative and qualitative analyses across the Marketable Assets portfolio (long-only public equity, hedge funds, credit-oriented investments, etc.)Conduct general market research in different strategies within the Marketable Assets portfolioAttend external investment manager meetingsThe duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the types of work that may be performed.
