RGP has a client with multiple CONSULTING-TO-HIRE (i. . TEMP-TO-PERM) roles, supporting this RGP Financial Services Client's Investment Operations Group.
+ ROLES REQUIRE HYBRID ONSITE 3-4 DAYS. (Candidates can work at any one of these clients locations, either New York, NY or Boston, MA or Springfield, MA).
+ Strong Systems Experience in EAGLE SYSTEMS (strongly preferred) e. . EAGLE PACE, EAGLE STAR, or other relevant large company Investment Accounting or Data Management Platforms.
+ RGP's Client Investment Operations team is agile and works independently, yet collaborates with departments across the client organization. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, be able to multi-task, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, have strong interpersonal skills and have a continuous improvement mindset.
As an Investment Operations Consultant for this RGP Client, you will perform activities consistent with the specific role such as Cash and Securities Management, securities transaction processing, data reconciliation and validation and/or oversight over the lifecycle of invested assets and portfolios. Responsibilities may include assisting in onboarding new managers and investment types, relationship management, customer support, calculation of forecasts and funds available for investing, general ledger balancing, reporting, reconciliations, payment validations, and complex transaction processing.
You will bring strong working knowledge of back office securities operations functions in order to maintain the lifecycle of the Investment Assets in accordance with established policies and procedures, which may include:
+ Forecasting and validation of expected cash flows related to investments.
+ Analyzing and validating and processing security related transactions, such as redemptions and corporate actions, on the accounting system.
+ Performing reconciliations, including exception oversight, analysis and resolution
+ Managing and executing ad-hoc accounting, data and reporting requests.
+ Partnering with vendors, banks and Investment Managers
+ Maintaining and improving workflows and procedures as needed
+ Reconciling general ledger suspense lines on a daily and monthly basis
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 5+ years working in the financial services sector in similar investment operations capacity
+ Four-year Bachelor’s Degree or other relevant Advanced Degree
+ Back-office securities operations experience or similar experience e. . reconciliation of cash to receivables/payables
+ Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel, PowerPoint)
+ SAP and Eagle Systems experience is strongly preferred.
+ Banking and Treasury experience
+ Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
+ Ability to problem solve and resolve issues independently, and know when to escalate appropriately
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong inter-personal skills to facilitate building positive working relationships
+ Risk and controls awareness
+ Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Recognition of patterns and trends in data operations and proven ability to improve processes
+ Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
+ Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
+ Pay Range: IDEALY HOURLY PAY IS IN THE RANGE OF $45-65/HOUR. HYBRID ONSITE IS REQUIRED FOR MOST ROLES (3-4 DAYS).
