The Investment Operations Manager contributes to and enhances the capabilities of the Investment Office team for the development and implementation of various operations and portfolio administration projects.Experience

Investment Operations
Assist with portfolio operations responsibilities of global, multi-asset class portfolio. Engage with service providers including custodian, outside counsel, investment consultant, performance system vendor, CRM vendor, and others as needed.Responsible for supervision of all portfolio activity including accounting, investment valuation, capital calls, distribution activity, and account set up and termination.Responsible for supervision of legal activities including review of legal documents by external legal team, including subscription documents, redemption documents, fund consent requests, storage of legal documents and other requested materials.Partner with Director of Investment Operations to facilitate portfolio compliance and execute operational policies and procedures.Evaluate use cases for additional service providers and complete continued evaluation of current service providers as the Investment Office seeks providers that fit within cost-conscious operating model.Contribute to onboarding and implementation of Investment Office external service providers as needed.Build a comprehensive understanding of the investment industry by participating in events (e.g. conferences).Operational Due Diligence
Supervise external vendors performing operational due diligence, evaluate their work and report to Director of Investment Operations and Investment team.Assist with implementation of compliance program, assessment of service providers, management of IT environment, and cybersecurity concerns.Performance Measurement
Manage the performance reporting lifecycle with Children’s external service providers to ensure timeliness and accuracy of reported data.Troubleshoot and evolve the process for capturing and communicating performance data as needed.Build a comprehensive understanding of the investment industry by participating in events (e.g. conferences).Work with Director of Investment Analytics to improve framework used by Children’s performance providers.Data Management
