What you will do

This full-time position is for an Investment Ops Specialist within PGS with the iRisk Data Integrity Group.  The iRisk data infrastructure houses a multitude of financial data from many of Prudential’s accounting and trading systems both domestically and internationally. 

The Investment Ops Specialist will support key data quality controls and various project work for all aspects of iRisk. This role will include oversight of financial data on a variety of financial instruments, supporting reporting requests and various ad hoc inquiries. The individual will regularly collaborate with members of various levels within Chief Investment Office (‘CIO’), PGIM Muli-Asset Solutions (‘PMA’) and PGS. This is a hands-on opportunity that leverages investment knowledge, technical and analytical skills, strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.


This position is based in our office in Tampa, Florida or Newark , NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.


What you can expect

Identify, implement and perform key controls that support the data within iRisk, the Aladdin risk system and the PARIS performance system.Provide daily client support for resolution of production issues. This includes analysis of the issue and working with the appropriate areas to resolve.Support the PMA operating model across all asset classes.Utilize various applications such as Investment Risk database (iRisk), MS Excel, Tableau, Cognos reports, etc., to facilitate ad-hoc analytical / information inquiries, streamline existing processes, define and build out new processes and perform project testing.Partner with various clients and business partners to meet any new business requirements and collaborate with the Global Technology team to help support project work

What you will bring

Bachelor degree required with a major in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or Information Systems preferred3+ years of investment operations or accountingDeep understanding of various investment security typesStrong PC skills with proficiency in MS ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to organize/prioritize tasks and work in a deadline-oriented environmentTight-knit collaboration and interpersonal skillsGood organizational skills, resourcefulness and attention to detailStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task/juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines

What will set you apart?

Experience with Aladdin, Cognos and/or investment accounting reporting systems (i.e. PAM for Investments)

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $70,000-$80,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
