Overview of Role/Principle Responsibilities:
The Investment Product Analyst, Fixed Income role is based in Hong Kong but may encompass travel to other markets. The role will be a bridge between our Fixed Income Investment and Sales teams – proactively engaging with clients on performance, positioning, and market outlook. Job responsibilities also include preparing materials for client engagement, tracking market trends and peer performance comparison.
The successful candidate will be someone willing to seize opportunities to help grow the Schroders Fixed Income business in an evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Client Support
· Development and maintenance of client reporting material, new business materials, databases and general information on the Fixed Income product suite
Ensure all Fixed Income product presentations and fund updates are produced with high quality for distribution to sales channelsCollect and analyse comparative advantages among major peers and determine product niche as part of competitor analysisProvide regular client reports of market and portfolio performance, as well as portfolio investment strategy, for distribution to existing clients Work closely with the investment team, compliance, performance attribution and risk management teams in resolving all client issuesEnsure RFPs are completed with the highest standards possible and tailored to clients’ needsPrepare materials for internal review forums including (but not limited to) FI risk and performance committee in relation to FI portfoliosBusiness Management and Development
Participate in formulating overall business strategy including market landscape, competitor analysis and therefore product designStreamline existing work processes and establish best practices for the Fixed Income platform in AsiaWork closely with the Investment Product platform to contribute to the business growth of the Fixed Income business within Asia Assist Schroders client events and new business pitches with Investment Directors, portfolio managers, client group representatives and stakeholders, and where required, in client reviews and conference calls with clients and prospectsRequirements:
· 3-5 years of relevant experience
· A strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, analysis and portfolio management techniques.

· Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to deliver complex information concisely, both written and verbal
· Organised, possessing effective time management and prioritisation skills

· Keen to grow with the flatform and business
· Language capability: fluent in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese
