Investment Sales Leader
Join our dynamic team at Mercer as an Investment Sales Leader, where you will play a pivotal role in driving growth for our Investments OCIO business. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a strong sales background and exceptional communication skills to help us identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
We will count on you to:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for client segments within Investment OCIO to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Oversee the sales pipeline, manage the sales process, and ensure successful transitions of sales into Mercer.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.
Train and mentor junior sales staff, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
What you need to have:
A university degree and/or professional qualification; relevant postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
15+ years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally in client service, sales, or proposal management.
Proven experience in sales and business development, particularly in managing senior-level clients within financial or professional services.
Advanced knowledge of MMC products and services, with a strong understanding of superannuation issues and solutions.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
