Introduction

ING Hubs Philippines is one of the fastest-growing delivery hubs for ING Group. It serves a variety of business domains including KYC, Risk, and Tech. The IT Engineering Department caters to the tech and software development needs of different ING Entities including Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Australia, and Germany.

We are looking for an iOS developer to join our team. As part of the team, you will be working in an agile environment building features for the banking apps of different ING Entities. You will take part in creating, maintaining and improving these mobile banking features. You will be able to learn and share knowledge with your colleagues from the mobile community both here in the Philippines and abroad.

General expectations of the role

As a member of the engineering team, you will be developing reliable, high-performance iOS applications that apply various development design principles and best practices. You are expected to:

Take full ownership of a system by maintaining and improving existing features and documentationWork with both business stakeholders and developers to establish mutual understanding of requirementsInfluence the direction of the overall architecturePerform code review and mentor junior peersBe proactive in promoting ‘Best Practices’ and share these to the mobile chapter within the local community and abroad

Skill requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an iOS DeveloperFluency in iOS Development using SwiftExperience with creating custom UI with UIKit and SwiftUIExperience with frameworks and dependency management (Swift Package Manager)Experience with implementing accessibility features (such as VoiceOver, Dynamic Type)Experience with Test AutomationExperience with project management tools using Git and CI/CDComfortable with Xcode and tools (such as Instruments)Understanding of SOLID Principles and other design patterns (such as MVVM, Coordinator, modular app architecture)Familiar with Mobile Security best practicesFamiliar with emerging technologies (such as Combine, Swift Modern Concurrency)
