Job Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating confidentiality agreements (CDAs) and related IP agreements (such as material transfer agreements (MTAs)) with global contracting partners in English language in close collaboration with the Munich IP team. Advising WACKER business and central divisions on all CDA related aspects in close collaboration with the Munich IP team. Supporting WACKER business and central divisions in negotiations of CDAs. Supporting the global IP team in the evaluation, adaptation and implementation of improved CDA prosecution processes including contract management systems and AI based legal supporting tools. Close exchange with the global IP teams located in Germany, China and the USA. Development and implementation of employee training formats for IP and CDA related aspects. Monitoring legislation and case law in all relevant jurisdictions.
Qualifications Required
Fully or partially qualified European Patent Attorney with an University's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Mechanics or related fields Substantial experience with IP agreements, advanced legal knowledge on interpreting agreements. Excellent written and spoken English skills, including legal terminology, are required. Basic knowledge of the German language is beneficial; experience abroad is an advantage. Very good understanding and high affinity for IT, as well as experience in working with AI based tolls. Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach in the field of IP related issues. Strong ability to grasp and analyze complex issues, reduce them to the essentials and present them in an understandable way. Entrepreneurial thinking. Enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary and international teams. Decisiveness, assertiveness and persuasiveness. Confident appearance, very good team and communication skills. Initiative and independent working style. Strong ability to work and collaborate across different departments. Reliability and flexibility
