Job DescriptionPerforms functional verification of IP logic to ensure design will meet specification requirements.Develops IP verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage to confirm to microarchitecture specifications.Executes verification plans and defines and runs system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs.Replicates, root causes, and debugs issues in the presilicon environment.Finds and implements corrective measures to resolve failing tests.Collaborates with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.Documents test plans and drives technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.Maintains and improves existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.Participates in the definition of verification infrastructure and related TFMs needed for functional design verification.Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor or higher of Science degree in Electronics Engineering and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science.Good problem-solving skills and a self-starter.Ability to comprehend content of technical specifications for architecture, microarchitecture, registers, and schematic.Highly motivated, curious, and a team player with a keen interest in finding and resolving RTL bugs.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a cross-site team environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in FPGA, custom IC or ASIC design and/or verification, demonstrated excellence in any of the product development areas from architecture, design, validation to the product.Experienced using advanced system design and validation methodologies and technologies such as FPGA prototyping and emulation.Knowledge of computer architecture.Understanding of a hardware subsystem and software stack, including the silicon, all onboard components and connectors, external or plug-in adapters and devices, drivers, and applications.Experience with C, C++, Perl or Python programming.
