This role is within Intel’s Client Computing Group. CCG is a computing paradigm where services and data reside in scalable data centers, and those services and data can be accessed by any connected device over the Internet. Responsible for designing and optimizing processors, chipsets and other hardware for consumer devices while also working on the software ecosystem, including drivers and utilities that enhance user experience.
The IP Design Verification Engineer performs functional verification of IP logic to ensure design will meet specification requirements. They develop IP verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage to confirm to microarchitecture specifications.
In addition, the IP Design Verification Engineer:
Executes verification plans and defines and runs system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs.Replicates, root causes, and debugs issues in the presilicon environment. Finds and implements corrective measures to resolve failing tests.Collaborates with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.Documents test plans and drives technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.Maintains and improves existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology. Participates in the definition of verification infrastructure and related TFMs needed for functional design verification.The IP Design Verification Engineer should possess the following behavior attributes:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
·Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant field for study, and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience OR master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant field for study with 2+ years of experience.
·3+ years of experience in IP or SOC validation including developing testbench from scratch.
·2+ years’ experience with System Verilog and OVM/UVM methodology for verification environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
·Adept in Object Oriented programming languages C or C++ and/or scripting language such as perl/python.
·Sound understanding of modern Computer architecture.
·Verification fundamentals encompassing complex protocol verification (AXI, AHB, PCIe, OCP) or IO Bus protocols.
·Debugging RTL code using simulation/emulation tools and UPF knowledge
·Assertion and Functional Coverage experience.
·Experience developing constraint random verification infrastructure, scoreboard, and checkers development.
