Your role:
Provide guidance to in-house regulatory professionals, legal partners, and Philips management on compliance with medical device regulations, including clinical investigations, premarket clearance, quality systems, advertising, and adverse event reporting.
Collaborate with quality, regulatory, and business teams to create and evaluate policies and programs ensuring adherence to medical device laws and regulations across Philips businesses.
Support regulatory compliance in mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and enforcement actions, coordinating with in-house and external counsel, as well as interfacing with regulators like the FDA.
Act as a resource for legal teams globally, deliver training programs for managers, and support related functions such as contract reviews, advertising compliance, and media communications for regulated medical devices.
You're the right fit if:
5+ years FDA compliance experience as an attorney, with a medical device focus, including work on investigational devices, pre-market submissions, quality systems, device reporting and advertising and promotion, as well as some knowledge of EU Medical Device Regulation or regulatory regimes in other major markets.
Experience working with senior executives within clients and regulatory professionals is desirable, whether as in-house counsel or in private practice.
Must feel comfortable working in a matrix organization consisting of attorneys, paralegals, regulatory professionals, and business leaders.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Pitsburgh $115,500 to $165,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
