EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a 2nd-year candidate for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Networking or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment Strong troubleshooting skills, basic IP knowledge  Strong sense of ownership and accountability Linux/Unix operating systems installing servers, creating users, groups, and permissions

 

 

As a part of our team, you will: 

A central tool for inventory tracking OTS (serial numbers, loaned equipment, repairs, etc) Build custom PC’s, install Ubuntu OS Troubleshoot various issues with network and equipment Find/implement ways to improve the lab Monitor the performance of these nodes during long-duration tests, and report anomalies to the supervising engineers.
