IPC-A-610 Certified Inspector:  Seeking an inspector for 60-day contract opportunity in Tempe, AZ  

 

Job Description:

The quality inspector shall travel to our client's facility in Tempe, AZ to perform quality inspections on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), cable harness, connectors, manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies.Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications to Class III.The inspector will be required to report inspection accept/reject information directly to the customer via web application.

Requirements:

Current IPC-A-610 Certification requiredAt least 5 years of current Electrical inspection backgroundMust have experience working to J-STD-001 or IPC 610 experienceInspection primarily on electrical assemblies (i.e. PCBs)Knowledge of first article inspection to AS9102Aerospace industry experienceInspector must have practical experience performing in-process and final inspections primarily on electrical assemblies (i.e. PCBs), and / or sub-assembliesThe inspections will be performed to engineering requirements specified per ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) or equivalent standard.Must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs). The candidate must have experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipersIdeal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing with proficiency using Microsoft Word and ExcelMust be able to meet ITAR ComplianceMust have a laptop and cell phoneScreening requirements: background, eye exam, drug screeningThis position requires the selected candidate to have an LLC or be willing to obtain one
