Insight Public Sector (IPS) is currently seeking a talented and experienced Federal Sales Market Leader to support our Civilian space.  This individual will be responsible for managing sales activities for our Civilan Government segment for Insight’s expanding Public Sector Federal division. The Sales Market Leader will need a strong background in managing sales teams, with a proven track record in attaining sales goals. Key Responsibilities

Manage a professional field sales team covering the Civlian segments. Drive sales strategy and work with account executives and sales managers to attain sales quotas. Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to customers. Motivate, coach, and manage sales team. Manage Account Executive sales performance. Build a sales team (support recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees). Oversee accurate pipeline management. Exponential territory growth. Establish and develop strong partner relationships within the region. Work with Marketing to effectively create brand awareness. Ownership of the top customers in territory. Travel within region required.

 

What you'll meed to succeed

College Diploma/University Degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of successful civilian sales experience in the technology field. 3+ years proven sales management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with C-level executives. Highly focused on customer solutions and satisfaction. Strong negotiation and motivational skills. Excellent presentation skills. Must have experience presenting to large groups. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

The base salary range for this position is typically $130,000 to $150,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
