IQA Inspector
**_MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE_** Responsible for ensuring all sampling and testing activities in the Incoming Materials laboratory are carried out in a safe and productive manner. - Assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs, Class A and ISO regulations. **_MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES_** + Assist in trouble-shooting and determining root cause for quality issues related to incoming raw materials or packaging materials. + Alert Materials and Operations to conditions that may adversely impact product quality. + Responsible for routine vendor audits, incoming quality assurance, and feedback and reporting. + Provide testing services to Plant Operations to ensure seamless and smooth process operations. + All operations in the Incoming Materials Laboratory are carried out in a safe and productive manner, adhering to GMP/GLP standards at all times. + Established working knowledge and application of a specialized technical skill. + Apply specialized knowledge to coordinate day-to-day work. + Knowledge of related regulations and standards. + Strong understanding of current processes and procedures and may identify opportunities for improvement. + Complete a wide range of tasks and assignments. + Resolve more complex situations by applying demonstrated knowledge and skills generally acquired through job experience. + Analyze information to select appropriate options from defined alternatives. + Apply experience and judgment to make decisions or resolve issues within defined options or standard protocols. + Anticipate problems and recognizes when to deviate from standard practices. + Exceptions are usually resolved with the concurrence of a team lead or supervisor. + Normally receive no instruction on routine work; receive instructions for new work or special assignments. + Independently gather resources and information needed to complete projects. + Contribute to own team/closely related teams through quality and efficiency of own work. + Apply communication skills to provide service, coordinate information and collaborate with others. + Regularly interact with customers and first line management. **_QUALIFICATIONS_** + Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or in related discipline or GCE "A" or "O" Level with more than 5 years’ experience. Computer literacy and experience with ERP and LIMS systems would be advantageous. + Initiate + Perform troubleshooting / resolve and recommend + Execute- Proficient in all job processes within a functional production area. + - Perform quality audits and drives to fix problems. + - Perform complex resolution to issues escalated from less experienced team members. + Minimum 3 years relevant experience in quality inspection environment or equivalent combination of education and work experience. + Computer literacy and experience with ERP and LIMS systems would be advantageous. + - Practical experience in working in a fast-pace laboratory environment with tight datelines and able to solve problems in a speedy and methodical manner with good follow-up on action items. + - Ability to multi-task is essential.
