\n\n\nBaylor Scott & White Medical Center– Grapevine has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and is the only Level II Trauma Center in Northeast Tarrant County. Additionally, the facility is an accredited Cycle IV Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center and accredited in weight loss surgery, oncology, etc. The hospital was recognized by U.S. News & World Report in its 2021-2022 “Best Hospitals” ratings as high performing in the common procedures and conditions category for stroke, heart failure, kidney failure and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). \nAs an Interventional Radiology RN, use nursing expertise to deliver patient care with the healthcare team. Tasks include evaluating health, identifying issues, creating care plans, and tracking treatment responses. Help patients navigate their healthcare safely. Use knowledge of needs to prevent issues.

\n\nPrioritizing patient and family needs is crucial. Responsibilities involve developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Adjust as needed.\nMaking a safe place for patients, families, staff is vital.\nThis includes maintaining confidentiality and voicing patient concerns when necessary.\nThe successful candidate will manage learning for patients and families. They will help nursing staff grow. Knowledge sharing in the health care team and community is also promoted.\nThe perfect candidate partners effectively with team members and the community to implement a cohesive care plan.\nThe candidate must recognize limited resources and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.\nEncourage professional growth by creating a positive work environment. \n\nA basic understanding of the patient care practices, medical terminology, medications, and equipment used in interventional radiology nursing.\nYou must communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to engage with different groups effectively.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving for providing optimal patient care.\nThe ability to track changes in patients' health and communicate clearly with nurses and doctors.\nBasic computer skills, particularly knowledge of electronic medical documentation systems and email.\n\nBelonging Statement

Qualifications
\n\nGraduate of an Accredited Program \nThe applicant's major field of study should be Nursing.\n\n\nRequirements: Two years of Critical Care experience; Interventional Radiology experience preferred

\n\n\nCandidates must be Registered Nurses(RN).\nA (BLS) Basic Life Support certification is required or must obtain within (30) thirty days of hire\n
