Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level while maintaining stock levels.Primary Responsibilities:Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations.Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.Assist in training of Technicians.Perform any other job related task as assigned by Management.Education, Skills, & Experience:Technical/Vocational degree with minimum of 3 years experience in related manufacturing environment.In lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 2 years of electronic technician experience. Associates Degree is desiredKnowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.Knowledge of service and repair of St. Louis based instrumentation. Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance and calibration systems and processes. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
