The team works hard to create lifelong customer relationships, supplying comprehensive product & service solutions for the Oil & Gas industry and setting the standard for excellence in the segment. **The Role** The Iron Technician I provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components. **Job** ** ** **Duties/Responsibilities** ** ** **may include, but are not limited to:** + Assists Iron Technicians during the disassemble phase + Clean, strip and inspect all required flow control components + Prepare flow control products for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections + Ability to demonstrate the disassemble of flow control products per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) + Ability to identify SPM and Customer product + Ability to assemble flow control product + Nondestructive Testing Trainee (NDT Trainee) + Manifold tear down/rebuild trainee + Demonstrates computer skills for the SPM AMP System + Requires knowledge of SPM products and customer standards + Inventory Incoming Iron + Provides proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area + Monitors daily work activities to ensure requirements are met + Performs other routine duties as assigned **Basic Qualifications:** + One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience **Employee benefit details** Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
