Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry. **The Role** The Iron Technician I provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components. **Job** **Duties/Responsibilities** **may include, but are not limited to:** + Assists Iron Technicians during the disassemble phase + Clean, strip and inspect all required flow control components + Prepare flow control products for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections + Ability to demonstrate the disassemble of flow control products per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) + Ability to identify SPM and Customer product + Ability to assemble flow control product + Nondestructive Testing Trainee (NDT Trainee) + Manifold tear down/rebuild trainee + Demonstrates computer skills for the SPM AMP System + Requires knowledge of SPM products and customer standards + Inventory Incoming Iron + Provides proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area + Monitors daily work activities to ensure requirements are met + Performs other routine duties as assigned **What you will have:** + One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience **Additional information:** + Position is located onsite in Waynesburg, PA. + Schedule: 7a-3:30p, weekends and overtime required dependent on business needs + Pay starts at $20.30, though can be negotiable depending on experience **What You Will Get:** + 40-hour work week with potential for overtime + 80 hours of vacation with additional paid time off + Most national holidays off with pay + 100% 401K match up to 6% + Health, dental, vision, disability & life insurance + Employee Assistance Program + Local & national discounts! **Physical Demands:** + Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear + Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl + Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus + Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department **Work Environment:** + Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles + Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions + Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration + Noise Level: Moderate    Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
