Your role and responsibilitieseCommerce (ABB Shop) for ABB Motion aims to deliver superior customer experience, by providing a one-stop shop for ABB’s customers and enabling high-quality interactions throughout the buying journey. The business priorities for eCommerce are centered around increasing adoption, driving productivity, and realizing additional growth.As eCommerce Business Analyst you are responsible for the fast and successful scaling up of the ABB Shop platform to more than 50 countries and additional divisions. The ideal candidate will be in Poland or in India for this role. ABB Shop uses Adobe's Commerce platform (formerly Magento). The eCommerce Business Analyst will work closely with other talented and dedicated business and information system (IS) resources to model and coordinate demand planning & engineering of requirements/capabilities for deployment of ABB's eCommerce platform worldwide. This role will work closely with external partners and internal (technical and functional) resources to enable capabilities on the ABB Shop platform. In this role, you will support the demand/release management technical workstream by managing business demand, assisting with functional demand, assign demand to technical resources, manage development estimations, ordering and project management. The eCommerce Business Analyst will be part of the technology workstream and report into the ABB Shop IS lead. He/she will proactively work with the ABB Shop team, business & IS Leads to ensure adequate staffing and resource availability to meet commercial goals. The eCommerce IS Business Analyst is a key member of the eCommerce team responsible for capturing the core needs of both the customers (eCommerce end users) as well as the ABB business and analyzing those needs to produce a clear and concise roadmap to drive the platform and its solutions developments for the greatest benefit of both parties With this role, the main responsibilities are as follows: Build and maintain solid understanding of businesses needs and aspirations within the space of eCommerce by developing a BRD (Business Requirements Document) and evolving it as the program progresses. Work with internal and external stakeholders on ideation and requirements elicitation by conducting interview, workshops, surveys, brainstorming sessions…to capture the most complete picture of stakeholder's needs within the eCommerce space Collaborate with the eCommerce delivery team (operations, support and development) to create and execute work plans of delivering new/incremental features and enhancements by defining clear requirement Work with the delivery team on resolving ongoing development challenges and clarifying the business requirements when required. Support the platform implementation efforts by providing the solutions demo sessions and assuring release notes are well documented and communicated. Manage requirements backlog in dedicated tool. Prepare and update application documentation and training materials. Actively communicate with the eCommerce “downstream” services and IS offerings within the ABB landscape to coordinate the roadmaps and delivery planning.
Qualifications for the roleDegree in Marketing or Computer Science would be an advantage Full life-cycle development experience – with Agile/Scrum project experience Excellent communication, inter-personal and analytical skills Experience with Jira, Confluence, (UX/UI Designers are using Figma), Azure DevOps & Microsoft Teams Previous experience in software development or project management Fluency in eCommerce technology and processes, previous experience with Magento/Adobe Commerce platform would be a significant advantage Previous experience in change management projects would be a significant advantage Minimum 3-5 Years’ experience in a multinational/corporate environment Fluent English
