Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, This position serves as the critical link between business champions, IS project team and IS operation team from all Business Areas, other businesses or domains and external software providers with objective to achieve consistency and reliability in process and solution design that results in a desired system performance and user experience.The work model for the role is #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the IS services in Bangalore. You will be reporting to IS Procurement Digitalization Service Owner.You will be mainly accountable for:• Align with IS Functional Lead and Solution Architect for Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite (SSS) end to end solution and perform design, development, configuration and all relevant activities to ensure the solution is robust and scalable across ABB business divisions.• Engage in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and aligned with architecture guidelines• Ensure the solution is aligned and integrated upstream and downstream efficiently with other modules and relevant applications and solutions (master data, ERPs, and other relevant solutions)• Responsible to ensure the solutions are being developed according to best design practices and ABB standards• Align with IS Functional Lead for change management board activities and collaborate with business champions and process owners to continuously improve system usability and customer satisfaction• Support ITGC and other compliance requirements and ensure solution designed and developed enables compliance measurement, monitoring, and improvement activities• Support operation team to identify issue root cause, resolution options and continuous improvements; ensure implementation project knowledge transferred to IS support team and on-going knowledge refresh.
Qualifications for the role8+ years of cumulative working experience with 5+ years of experience with SAP functional/technical design and development is required Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4 HANA and/or Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite is a must Working knowledge of cloud integration and ERP basis and security setting is a plus In-depth knowledge in indirect procurement and service business process and best practice is a plus A bachelor’s degree or higher in Information system, engineer, finance, business management or equivalent program is required Experience with Automation and central procurement implementation is desired
