Your role and responsibilities

As the Information Systems Global Vendor Manager you will establish, lead and govern strong global vendor management and global vendor relationships with Strategic Partners. You will leverage with Corporate Information System, Global Business Services Information System and Business stakeholders to support IT requirements and IT Governance to deliver value and enabling growth in support of the ABB Strategy.The work model for the role is: #LI- #HybridThis role is contributing to the Core IS Services, we are looking for candidates in Bangalore, IndiaYou will be mainly accountable for:Engaging with vendors to establish and maintain business relationships and a collaborative vendor ecosystem, supporting the ABB Strategy and fulfilling expectations. Meeting key performance indicators and agreed targets, analyze performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop strategies to address under-performanceDiscussing the periodic performance and credit calculation with vendors & managing portfolio of all contractual agreements for vendors in scope, maintain and negotiate contract changesResponsible for contract and commercial management (contract owner) towards vendors & providing vendor analysis and assesses effectiveness across the GBS IS organization and manages risks associated with information security, continuity, and performanceBenchmarking and judging performance data from IS Performance Manager to monitor and review vendor performance in collaboration with the vendorImplementing and execution of a Credit Management Model, Invoice management, pricing management, business case tracking, accruals, purchase ordersTracking and reporting on relevant business cases, working with vendor(s) and all necessary ABB entities to ensure targets are met

Qualifications for the role

10+ years of experience in relevant vendor management and up to 5 years of experience in establishing business relations with global strategic partnersSound knowledge of Finance / Cost center management, Vendor Management and Vendor Governance, Process-oriented and driving continuous improvements as a second natureExperience in leading Vendor Relationship Management, extensive knowledge of Contract management, IT controlling and financial management, comprehensive IT understanding, excellent negotiating skills and excellent conflict resolution skillsThe ability to head cross-functional, virtual and international teams and manage multiple demands on your time & A collaborative, solutions- and customer-service-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skillsEducation : Relevant Bachelor's/Master's degree from Good University
