IS Service Owner

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring, monitoring and improving wintel service of IS Hosting Services as technical owner in global strategic datacenter in order to meet wintel service level commitments. The work model for the role is hybrid #LN-HybridThis role is contributing to the IS Services in India.You will be mainly accountable for:• Is accountable and plays support technical role for all the areas associated with Hosting Wintel Services.• Is dedicated IS Hosting Tower technical representative to provide advisory and support for Hosting Wintel Service.• Reviews SLAs and service metrics to monitor quality of Hosting Wintel Services and initiates improvement actions to reach service level targets.• Ensures Hosting Wintel Services are compliant with IS policies, compliance, architecture standards and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines.\t• Supports Service Manager to manage assigned budget, if any.• Effectively delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs.• Maintains constant dialogue with other service managers and IS domains functions to ensure alignment and integration with global IS domain strategy.

Qualifications for the role

Above 5 year of data center windows and VMware platform management experience within the relevant IS domain. Experience to translate business requirements into technical. Excellent knowledge of windows and VMware in enterprise environments. Extensive hands-on experience of implementing and administering windows server and VMware platform, knowledge on SCCM, monitoring or any hypervisor automation tool management. Practical experience in administering DNS, network. Experience in implementing/administering Data Centre virtualization solutions would be an asset.
