Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for supporting regular IS Application Deployments, training and testing activities, in scope of Motion PLM Domain globally, ensuring reliable, secure, compliant, and high quality IS Services. Preferable work location would be Helsinki, Finland but other working locations could be considered as well. The key responsibilities for this role will be the following: Responsible for IS Application Deployments for PLM, CREO and a few other engineering applications in scope of Motion PLM Domain. Responsible for continuity, security, compliance, and quality of the application deployments - ultimate target to secure business continuity and customer satisfaction Maintaining contents for testing and trainings, managing, and facilitating trainings Must be ready to support deployment requirements at shorter notices and over public holidays and off working hours. Ensuring high application availability & positive SLA & KPIs and as and when situation arises act as a supporting member for any operational issue resolution and service request handling. Manage Azure DevOps backlog, which involves full task lifecycle, registering tasks, clarifying needs, providing a general overview, planning, implementation, and delivery. Creating and maintaining release guidelines and documents related to procedures on build and release for all applications in scope under Motion PLM Domain. Plan and monitor activities including task estimation and find dependencies between different projects to implement common solutions. Work in a cross-discipline team, using agile development methodology that requires active participation in activities. Being responsible for communicating key deployment commitments, plans, changes, and requirements to various projects and teams. Planning, managing, and monitoring the release deliverables and system deployments and being responsible for managing risks that may affect release scope, release quality and schedule. Responsible for collaborating with various teams to create and maintain yearly release calendar for each application ensuring business demands are prioritized. Determining how third-party applications, infrastructure updates and defect backlogs affect releases, plan the deployments in such a way that it does not impact the project timelines and costs. Sharing new perspectives in decision-making, directing plans and delegating related tasks, responsible for mentoring all members of the team. Ensuring continuous integration and deployment strategy for rules/validation criteria for customizations. Definition and documentation of Development conventions, Source Code Management Strategy, and initial Build. Plan and setup necessary branches to support all required project workstreams (regular builds, roll-ins, validation activities, production support activities) Responsible for the quality, on-time delivery and introducing productivity improvements of build deployments. Responsible to translate complex Deployment related requirement into simple and exact terms and communicate effectively and for preparing and maintaining Technical Documents and Report changes. Responsible for installation, documentation, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes and applications needed for PLM Domain. Being flexible in work and able to manage multiple requests on time, working with cross-functional, and international teams utilizing your understanding of application and business requirements to guide colleagues in Development and Deployment. Bringing contribution on automations, innovations & lean IS Release and deployment management topics.
Qualifications for the role10+ years of experience in Release Manager or Product Owner or Project Manager or Program Manager or Scrum Master role. Extensive work on Windchill PLM and have deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. Experience with CAD Application(s) will be added advantage Strong project management skills and must have worked in at least two significant Windchill projects in this role Excellent communication skills and proven leadership skills in motivating team Experience with agile methodologies, backlog management and sprint planning Good understanding of the technical features of Deployment Products (like Azure DevOps) A degree in Computer Science or relevant field is expected.
