Your role and responsibilities

As an IS Service Manager, you will lead the global operations of our Automation Platform, ensuring seamless service delivery across all business areas worldwide. Your responsibilities will include managing the platform’s infrastructure, overseeing the in-house team that supports and enhances automation services, and addressing customer requirements and escalations efficiently. You will also be pivotal in strategizing improvements, aligning the platform's capabilities with the strategic goals of the IS organization. Additionally, you will collaborate with other department leaders to foster innovation and drive the adoption of automation technologies throughout the companyThe work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the IS Area in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDelivering an IS service/support for the appropriate domain or subdomain of an IS solution to the relevant customer group, ensuring execution of requirements within budgeted costs and time schedule.•\tSupporting the installation/management/maintenance/optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS service build or IS service delivery for the domain.•\tManaging assigned budget, if any, effectively and delivering activities within agreed schedules and costs.•\tAssisting in major incident & critical situation resolution.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with over 10 years of hands-on experience in large-scale IT infrastructure services.\tExtensive experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions, particularly Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Terraform, and a strong understanding of automation practices to enhance deployment efficiency. \tKnowledge of automated testing, linting, and static code analysis is advantageous.\tStrong proficiency in Git (Software development/Better practice), including experience with branching, merging, rebasing, and conflict resolution. \tFamiliarity with Git workflows, such as Git Flow or GitHub Flow, is essential.\tDemonstrated ability to work effectively with development, operations, and security teams, with strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration across different function.\tKnowledge in major cloud services like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. \tCapable of automating cloud-native services to streamline consumption and boost adoption.\tProficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, YAML, or Python for automation tasks.\tProven experience in managing a global team and supporting global customers, with a strong ability to lead and mentor.\tAdvanced English is required.
