Description Join the Information Security team at the American Arbitration Association as an IS Support Engineer. As a tech-savvy problem-solver with excellent communication skills, you'll provide critical frontline technical support, ensuring our team members can work efficiently. You'll respond promptly to support requests across multiple channels while troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Your responsibilities include system configuration, user account management, thorough documentation in our ticketing system, and escalating complex issues when necessary. You'll contribute to IT asset management through inventory tracking and equipment deployment while implementing security best practices via antivirus updates, patch management, and access controls. The role also involves providing basic user training on IT tools and collaborating with IT colleagues to improve processes and overall efficiency. Work Environment + Hybrid role (3 days onsite/2 days remote) based out of our headquarters in Downtown Manhattan + $70,000 - $74,000 annually, plus quarterly incentive opportunities Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 1+ years of experience in a support or helpdesk role, or equivalent combination of education and IT experience + Experience with Windows, macOS, Active Directory, Imaging Software, Microsoft 365, and basic cloud applications + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users + Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage multiple support requests simultaneously + Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset + Availability to work flexible hours when needed + Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues + Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following security protocols About Us The American Arbitration Association (AAA), recognized among The NonProfit Times' 50 Best Nonprofits to Work For, offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where excellence meets opportunity.
