The Digital Assets team writes and manages software for images, videos, 3D, and AR assets of the entire Apple Online Store. As demand for Digital Assets grows year over year, so does the complexity of this software.DescriptionDescriptionAs an Engineering Manager, you will be leading a team of Engineers and guiding the development of innovative and complex features in a fast-paced environment. The role requires: Hands-on Technical management and strategic vision to build next-generation software systems You should have experience shipping and troubleshooting commercial quality, consumer-oriented software. Strong knowledge of web services architecture and distributed systems at scale, developing a comprehensive strategy for performance testing, measurement, monitoring, and analysis, and ability to make quick decisions in production issues. Experienced in instilling a defensive programming culture across a large engineering organization. You have strong planning and execution skills. You have strong software engineering skills and can act as an arbitrator for challenging technical debates. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
