Our client is leading a multinational joint venture in the LNG sector, and seeking an Area Manager to monitor and oversee the EPC Contractor ISBL works on LNG Train 1 & 2 scopes. Managing a team of up to 20 personnel on site.
Role Overview
Support the Project Manager in overall site management and participate in the Emergency Management Team. Coordinate and monitor all construction activities in ISBL Area #1, ensuring adherence to project requirements. Build strong relationships with EPC Contractors for effective routine management and critical issue resolution. Facilitate execution plans, method statements, and procedures for safe and timely project execution. Maintain physical presence on-site for safety commitment and quality oversight. Review construction progress, identify risks, and propose mitigations to management and EPC Contractors. Analyze project situations, identify risks, and propose technical and organizational solutions. Prepare for precommissioning and transition to commissioning activities. Contribute to peer assists and technical assurance reviews for compliance with procedures. Monitor the effectiveness of EPC Contractor’s construction management processes. Lead construction planning meetings to ensure proper follow-up on issues.Skills & Qualifications
Expertise in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) projects. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Proficient in Construction Programme Management. Deep knowledge of HSE standards and safety leadership. Effective communication skills with the ability to influence decisions. Strong analytical skills for risk identification and mitigation.Education & Experience
Degree in Engineering or relevant subject; advanced degree or professional qualifications preferred. 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a management role. Minimum 5 years on large greenfield projects, preferably in LNG liquefaction or related fields.Pay & Benefits
