Supervise a team of individual contributors who are manufacturing Honeywell's world class innovative products. You will leverage your manufacturing experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented production employees. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in one of Honeywell Aerospace production facilities. Through collaboration with cross functional teams, you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.
\nYou will report directly to our Operations Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, Florida location.
In this role, you will impact the company by ensuring the timely and high-quality production of aerospace technologies, contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
\n\nLead plant maintenance program\nDirectly supervise production operators\nDrive productivity improvements\nEnforce compliance\nDrive culture of continuous improvement\nEmployee Development\nResource management in dynamic environment\nTalent management\nReview quality output and coach team improvements\nCollaborate with customers and cross functional teams\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
\nU.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE
\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n2 years experience production / manufacturing environment\n\nWE VALUE
\n\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance or related field. \nMinimum of 2 years of supervisory/people leader experience preferred.\nAccountable for managing and maintaining the allocated budget.\nGood oral and written communication skills.\nGood work ethic.\nSix Sigma Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.\nUnderstands the use of various office software products and a working knowledge of the shop floor control system for build processes.\nMust exhibit team leadership skills and understand team dynamics\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL
