ISO Production Supervisor - Night Shift

Job Summary:

As a Production Supervisor, you will partner with your team members and support functions of the Manufacturing line to drive productivity and continuous improvement while prioritizing safety and quality. This position will work a 12 hour shift schedule, and report to the Production Manager.

Essential Duties

Maximize production efficiencies, achieve targeted raw material usages, and minimize yield losses. Troubleshoot and quickly resolve production method or machinery issues that are impacting run rates, downtime, or quality.Provide a safe workplace through adherence to company safety policy, housekeeping and defined standards of training. Lead production crew safety meetings. Ensure the production crew is well trained, involved and committed to meeting safety requirements.Maintain an excellent quality level of product produced at the lowest cost. Work with production operators to identify and reduce controllable quality issues. Ensure quality checks and checks are completed and review results.Provide leadership and direction to the production crew on a daily basis. Ensure production operators receive appropriate training for their positions.Provide effective employee feedback to employees and address performance and attendance issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate timekeeping for production employees and ensure time cards are approved on time.

High school diploma or GED3+ years of leadership experience in an industrial environment

Experience in a continuous process industryAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (such as Outlook and Excel)or G-SuiteUnderstanding of basic statistics and use within the manufacturing industryFamiliarity with maintenance management systemsExcellent communication and listening skillsFamiliarity with safety activities including root cause analysis, safe behavior observations and OSHA compliance
