About the Role:

We are looking for an exceptionally skilled ISO17025 Technical Controller to join our world-class team. This outstanding career opportunity allows you to work closely with the ANZ service team to provide technical support and successfully implement ISO17025 standards. You will be a key player in maintaining our competitive edge and ensuring that our team's calibration procedures and methods are strictly adhered to.

What You'll Do:Provide outstanding technical support for ISO17025 by collaborating closely with the ANZ service team.Write calibration test procedures and methods.Perform and evaluate Inter Laboratory Comparisons and Proficiency Tests.Ultimately responsible for the laboratories uncertainties of measurement.Perform all duties of the Technical Controller as per the Laboratory Quality Manual.Develop, validate, and deliver training and assessment for field service engineers to perform ISO17025 Calibrations.Review and update Training skills matrix for all engineers and resolve skills gaps.Ensure the efficiency of ISO17025 Calibrations.Support all internal and external Audit activities.Support timely customer issue resolution by working directly with customers and FSE's.Review and distribute technical bulletins and product information to ensure the latest factory and field recommendations are applied for all maintenance.Support the service administration team, service and sales teams in responding to technical inquiries.Collaborate with other Thermo Fisher Scientific groups and departments to help maintain product quality and promote customer happiness.Demonstrate responsiveness and proactivity in meeting customer needs. Nurture close and effective relationships with Company Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to ensure quality resolution of service and product issues.Keys to Success:EducationRelevant Electronic/Engineering/Metrology QualificationsExperienceExperience running a NATA Laboratory and as a NATA signatoryExperience within the biomedical, diagnostic or scientific market highly regardedMin 5+ yrs experience in a technical support or technical training roleExperience writing calibration procedures and uncertainty calculationsKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAble to develop, verify and maintain Measurements of UncertaintyKnowledgable in Calibration procedure Writing previous experience with Met Team highly desirableExperience with supporting internal and external compliance auditsExperience with MET/Team (Metrological - MET - Calibration Software -) ​Benefits:
