Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced ISSM to support our mission at AFRL at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This is an opportunity to work with new and emerging technologies to help support our customer and their mission. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

Designs and implements information assurance and security engineering systems with business continuity requirements, operations security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, internal counter-espionage (insider threat detection and mitigation), and physical security analysis (including facilities analysis and security management). Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle. Validates system security requirements definition and analysis. Establishes system security designs. Implements security designs in software, data, and procedures. Verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning, testing, and liaison activities. Supports secure systems operations and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

 

Possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance or possess a clearance and be TS/SCI eligible.
Knowledge of new and emerging IT and cybersecurity technologies 
Experience performing ISSO duties as outlined in DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01 for assigned systems and applications
Practical communication skills (written and verbal), ensuring clear and effective communication with technical peers 
CompTIA Security+

Experience using E-Mass
C1FAMS Privileged account in CloudOne
Possess COMSEC management experience and CCNP Security certification

RMF works for cloud systems as well as overall knowledge/expertise with AFRL's way of business – business systems as well as S&D or S&T systems.
It is a fast-paced environment as IZX is performing experimentation and pilot work.  Someone who can support cloud environment from cybersecurity plus be a liaison between IZX and IZC as well as an SME in IZX for not only ISSM work but cybersecurity SME.  This is where prior AFRL, even RC experience is beneficial
